1959 GSD Proposed Standard

GSDCA Parent Club Reports

This research had been compiled by Julie Good, AWSA's 1999 Conformation Chair. This was done by extensive reading of GSDCA Reviews's (circa 1952-1976), newsletters of the White German Shepherd Dog Club of America (renamed the White German Shepherd Dog Club International) and AWSA newsletters.

Due to this research it can be determined that the colored German Shepherd breeders had to disqualify the whites and they were justified in doing this. This would lead one to conclude that the only option available to white fanciers today is...

Complete separation from the German Shepherd Dog and to be recognized as the White Shepherd, a breed apart.
